Jazz Saxophonist is an original piece, both for its theme and its decoration. This saxophonist is a member of a jazz band, stylishly dressed for the performance. With a glossy porcelain finish, he is decorated in dark colors that highlight the black of the shirt, the shoes, and the trim of the hat. The trumpet is decorated with a glossy golden luster. The Puzzle woman sculpture has been forged from metal to look as if sections of it were snapped into place like a Rubik's twist. Lifelike! We cast some of our favorite pieces of splinter stone and made two repeatable sets that look and feel like the originals. We used a concrete and resin composite which feels cool to the touch. The casting allows for a consistent base shape throughout the collection too.
