Jeff Schaub was born in New York in January 1965. His art career started at the tender age of 5 when he astonished his teacher by drawing a three-dimensional figure. By age 8, Schaub was creating replicas of everything he could find using any available surface for his canvas. Studying the works of the great masters in his local library, National Geographic, and Encyclopedia Britannica, he learned their techniques, which was his greatest joy. Every time she approaches the canvas, she is ready to gain an understanding of her emotional and intellectual connection with life. There is always a reflection from within, along with the gift of clarity and purpose. She paints intuitively, letting layers of paint, fabric, collage, and paper interact and unfold into a story. When she discovers the story within the painting, its meaning comes into focus. When the meaning has been revealed, her painting is complete.
