Artist Lisa Tear was born in Los Angeles, CA, and lived in Arizona from her early teens to college age. She graduated from the University of CA, Irvine, Cum Laude, with a double major in art and psychology. Lisa moved to San Diego in 1980. She has been active in art and painting her entire life. Working in the commercial interior design business for over 25 years, she continued to paint in her spare time while raising her two boys. In the last 15 years, Lisa has been a full-time artist painting using her own unique process of layering thin acrylic glazes to create colors and textures on canvas, wood, and metal. Much of her inspiration comes from her love of nature and Lisa gets joy by bringing her creations to enhance people’s lives.

Throughout her life, Freshley has nurtured her artistic talents and passion for painting, starting from a young age. In 2016, she made the decision to leave her full-time job at an advertising agency to dedicate more time to her burgeoning art side business. Her passion lies in painting and creating vibrant artwork that brings joy to people. Her preferred medium is acrylic on canvas. While she mainly depicts places she has visited based on photographs she has captured, she also began incorporating non-representational painting into her repertoire in 2020.

Born in Modesto, California, and raised in Long Beach, California, artist Ryan Brown's focus in college was studying business. Ryan took a few college art courses but is mostly self-taught. He finds pleasure by studying the work of artists he enjoys and creates his own work from inspiration. Ryan believes that “Art is human creativity. It is meant to inspire and evoke emotion, just like music.” He finds his inspiration through everyday life and sees each moment as an opportunity for creating new art. Ryan enjoys working with a variety of mediums, but he prefers to work with oils and charcoal.

We were expecting more texture on the painting. Instead it almost appears as a print. Also we came to find out that the item was not able to be returned. Had we known this, we would likely not ordered the item. Zoey pursued her passion for fine art secretly as an adolescent, due to her parent’s restrictions, and used the art she viewed in galleries as her tutor. As soon as she was of age, she fled her hometown to live in New York City in order to be closer to a fast-paced environment, concentrated with art galleries. Zoey used everything around her to draw inspiration, from the street signs to the dancers seen through the windows of dance studios. After taking in all she could from the modern New York art scene, Zoey made her move to San Francisco, where she could expand her skills and be a part of the culture filled scene. Today, she resides in Southern California, still searching for the experience that will take her to the next level.
