Table is beautiful. Just what I expected, though there were a few places where unfinished wood shows through. I will report to customer service, but they can probably be touched up with marker or stain pen. Purchasers should be aware finish is rough to the touch on the sides. And the top is textured finish.. The table is beautiful. However, the description 39" wide by 39" deep is a bit misleading. It has six sides. From flat side to flat side is 34". From the tip of the angle to the opposite tip is not quite 39", so the table is definitely not as large as I had thought it would be. The table is heavy and quite lovely. As far as the delivery service, everyone I spoke with was very nice. They postponed the delivery five times before I actually received it 8 days after the first day I was scheduled. The delivery people were friendly, but they left the empty box at the end of my driveway! I had to drag it back to my garage.
