Artist Commentary: Iconic 50's chopped and shaved MERCURY with tuck and roll and baby moons. This is part of the Chassis series. The imagination is geared up for hands-on work under the body. All of these cars are dreams, but some are the greatest ever. In the shop with a wrench and rag is the image I see, hear, and smell. You have to close your eyes and let your mind drift away down the highway.
Archival digital print on paper, matted and framed under glass in a solid wood maple frame, wire, or D-ring hardware for hanging.
Artist Commentary: Lincoln, Nebraska is the place of my birth. When we moved from Nebraska to California I was very sad and often wondered if my roots would ever grow back. I may have left Nebraska, but Nebraska never left me. I am proud to have been born there. It is a beautiful and magical place.
Artist Commentary: It can be over whelming to experience the worst that Nature dishes up. This painting is a nightmare memory from my youth. I sometimes wonder how an event can haunt a person their whole life. It was the late 1950's in Nebraska. One night my family decided to drive out into the country and visit grandparents. It had been raining hard for days. In those days not a lot of people would risk driving out into the dark in the rain at night. Our headlights were dim, we slowed and came up a small rise to the top of the hill, and on the other side was nothing; nothing but water. The road disappeared. Everything all around disappeared. I believed we would be swallowed up and disappear as well. Complete terror is the only way I can describe it. We were going to die. It was THE DELUGE.
Kuzco Lighting
Organza or textured linen band surrounds a concentric polymeric diffuser spreading even light from the LED source. Finely hand-tailored, the fabric shade contributes a soft sophistication to the modern interior. Applicable as a flush mount, pendant, and in numerous sizes and fabric colors to suit your context.
Very nice looking flush mount. Jenn. Weston, MA. 2022-10-26 15:54:29
Artist Commentary: Our adopted pet cats give endless mystery and enjoyment. We know that there can sometimes be interactions outside when our fur babies cross paths with fox, bobcats, raccoons, skunks, and bear. We don't always know where they have been when they come home, nor where they might go when standing at the door to be opened. Sometimes we do know what they have been doing out there when a dead rat comes home with them!
Artist Commentary: The OUTPOST series of paintings are connected by their feeling of solitude and strength. So, where is OUTPOST 29? This painting is somewhere out on the edge. It is between the Milky Way and here. Familiar relationships and lives are at a minimal.
