It’s a beautiful photo and I am glad I purchased it for the wall of my stair landing. The frame is plastic made to look like wood.. Anonymous. . 2024-02-12 15:52:46
The artist, David Brown, studied and received his fine arts training at California State University of Long Beach and graduated with a BFA in drawing and painting in 2018. As a child, he watched his older brother draw and recalls wanting to draw just like him when he grew up. David currently lives in Long Beach, California, and has been lucky to show his work in multiple group shows and a few solo shows, mostly based in the Los Angeles area. His traditional work includes oil, charcoal, and graphite. He is strongly influenced by Renaissance, Baroque, and a lot of today’s contemporary work. David’s work is predominately focused on the human figure. "People are my inspiration. I love learning people’s stories and try to capture the sitter’s narrative through my drawings/paintings. I love drawing people from life, I feel that my work focuses on the relationship between artist and model". His art is his one true passion and he believes that, "artists are super sensitive and emotional human beings, our work is a physical representation of our thoughts and emotions, a diary that we choose to share with the world".
Artist Jean Kenna believes the purpose of an artist's life is to bring excitement and happiness into people's minds. The life and color exemplified in her "Call It Love" painting, expresses this. "I love to create art that makes your heart warm".
This piece is attractive and serves the purpose by adding color and interest to the room. I ordered the largest size, but felt the price was a little high, given that it is an embellished print and has no frame.. Karen. New York, NY. 2024-08-18 15:27:34

A vintage-style etching of a tree creates an intimate and pleasing composition in this timeless landscape.
I like the print, but was surprised to see that the frame is not what is shown on the webpage. The frame I received - while still be the same black and gold colors - is more ornate and elaborate than the clean simple look I thought I was getting. I would have preferred the cleaner look..
