The Artist, D’Alessandro Leon, was the youngest of three brothers. When art competitions were a form of play for the brothers, it later grew to his obsession. D’Alessandro attended the Art Institute of California where he explored mixing mediums as well as digital. He also attended illustration, Sculpting, and Fine Art workshops. After spending long periods of time studying different techniques, D’Alessandro’s art became increasingly influenced by artists from the early 1900s. During D’Alessandro’s studies, he painted many different themes. He painted with restless intensity, often painting from morning until night. D’Alessandro was able to indulge his earliest artistic preferences for people, nature, architecture, and landscapes in his illustration and personal pieces.

Dawn Winter is a self-taught, acrylic abstract painter based in Austin, TX. Her love of color, layers, and texture is reflected in her paintings. During the creative process, she especially enjoys using acrylics, palette knives, and her intuition to create paintings with a balanced sense of color and patterns. Oftentimes, her paintings explore contrasts between bold and muted colors and other times create a sense of depth through a variety of monochromatic color selections. Dawn finds herself enthralled by our environment and its beauty, as well as design and architecture. Whether it's the ocean or mountain views, she is continually drawn towards these images and the sense of space and beauty from our natural environment. Along with our natural environment, she is intrigued by the paintings of Clyfford Still and Gerhard Richter.
