A region in central Italy, Tuscany is known for its landscapes, history, craftsmanship, and influence on culture. The birthplace of the Renaissance, Tuscany is often called the art palace of Italy, and many of the world's greatest works of art come from the region. Stoneware has a long legacy in the area and maintains its place of importance in the region today. Signor Stefano Roselli is the master molder for a stoneware cooperative located in a small town seven miles outside of Florence, and he is the creator of this collection. Vietri has worked with Stefano and factory owner Franco Ammannati for close to 15 years, creating and bringing to market dinnerware collections, vases, urns, and other home decor products.
When I first saw these, I knew I wanted them for accenting my current dinnerware for the holidays. I was given a few pieces as a gift so I immediately went online to purchase more to add to my collection.
