I studied at a local community college back home and at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandise. Art has a lot of meaning to me. It’s a way of communicating, expressing myself, and connecting myself to my thoughts and to others. I find inspiration mainly from nature and emotions. I like to use all mediums, but my favorites are oil, acrylic, and watercolor. I enjoy being outdoors, playing music, painting, singing, writing, and being with friends.

Artist Janice Sadler created her painting series in watercolor as an ode to her southern California home. Janice particularly likes working in watercolors, because "the subtle colors intermingle, wash and flow into each other and new colors evolve from it".
