We were expecting more texture on the painting. Instead it almost appears as a print. Also we came to find out that the item was not able to be returned. Had we known this, we would likely not ordered the item. Artist Lisa Tear was born in Los Angeles, CA, and lived in Arizona from her early teens to college age. She graduated from the University of CA, Irvine, Cum Laude, with a double major in art and psychology. Lisa moved to San Diego in 1980. She has been active in art and painting her entire life. Working in the commercial interior design business for over 25 years, she continued to paint in her spare time while raising her two boys. In the last 15 years, Lisa has been a full-time artist painting using her own unique process of layering thin acrylic glazes to create colors and textures on canvas, wood, and metal. Much of her inspiration comes from her love of nature and Lisa gets joy by bringing her creations to enhance people’s lives.
