I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this lamp - it seems to be real brass, not that cheap looking “brass finish” that everything seems to have these days. It is a beautiful genuine brass color and already has a slight patina that I think will age beautifully. I tried to capture the finish in the photos. The assembly was quick but really sturdy. It’s a really beautiful, high quality, well made lamp and I’m so glad I didn’t settle for a cheaper one which I almost did. This was definitely worth the price.. Lauren. Starfall is a classically proportioned five-pointed double star. Gathered at a high waist of the lamp, five slender, tapered arms extend up as if reaching for the sky while five tapered legs splay downward, appearing to float just above a tabletop or floor. Slight and delicately crafted from metal, this lamp appears weightless and defies its media of steel sheeting. Finally, a gilded iron finish or a bronze finish is applied. Each lamp is fitted with a drum shade and a matching starburst finial.
To call this a "novelty" floor lamp does not do it justice. This is a top quality lamp in every respect. It is heavy, well made, and it looks awesome. Even the packaging it came in was top-notch.
