The light grey color is elegant and blends well with most decor styles. The backing is a bit firm underfoot, but the surface grid feels smooth and comfortable. The rug was delivered on Time and arrived very well packaged. This rug is beautiful and evenly woven (I bought size 8x10 and the rug measures 8.2x10) . It is soft. It is 1/4 thick. The colors are as shown on photos. The description stated the rug was hand knotted, which it is. The description also stated that it was made of 80% wool and 20% cotton, which is a main reason why I purchased it ( I prefer natural fibers). Unfortunately the tag on the carpet states it is 80% viscose (not wool) and 20% cotton. It doesn’t feel nor does it look like wool. It is definitely viscose. It vacuums well.
