The Copenhagen Medium Down Comforter by Scandia is a welcome addition to any bed. Meticulous constructed, the baffle box stitching keeps the down in place so that it doesn’t bunch up in a corner. The warmth is evenly distributed and lays uniformly beneath the duvet cover. Plus the fill is goose down and not a feather/down combo which makes it lighter, softer and warmer. Being from the Midwest, I grew up using down comforters and this one is by far the best. While I traditionally purchase down pillows, I figured I would give the Scandia Home Bergen Soft Down-Free Pillow a try since I have never been disappointed with a product from this company. I’ve used the pillow the past few nights and am happy with the quality, but it is a little too fluffy for me. I feel pillows, much like mattresses, are items that are very “sleeper dependent”. What is perfect for one person, might not be right for the next despite it being well made. I decided to switch out our weighted blanket with this comforter for the Spring & Summer months. This comforter is very lightweight on the body, but cozy enough to sleep under the ceiling fan and A/C. It came in a very nice cotton carry bag and the material is soft and luxurious. I ordered a King and there is a good 12" drop on each side, with a nice amount to tuck in at the end of the bed. The stitched baffling will prevent the down fill from shifting & bunching up.
