Gorgeous. Overlapping gilded ribs (shaped like nimbus beams of many 16th-17th euro religious portraits of saints) filter the light upward and outward without glare, giving a gold glow to my entry. Beautiful. Fits my 8’ ceiling perfectly (hard to find that!) because of the long chain that can be shortened or used for much taller or sloping ceilings. I’m really happy with it. Beautiful ceiling light but almost impossible to install without two strong people. Very hard to get the screws in the mounting bracket through the holes on the canopy to attach the cap nuts - you have to hold up the canopy, which is extremely heavy, and you need a second person to guide the screws into the holes, preferably someone who is strong enough to assist you in holding up the canopy.
