Whether this young aristocrat is thoroughly exhausted from socializing at the ball or simply lovesick for a suitor she's just met is impossible to tell what we do know from her languid pose, elegant attire and her placement on the plump settee sofa is that she's a true Victorian beauty. Conjured by an amazingly accomplished Catalan Spanish portrait painter and graphic designer who helped define the Modernism movement this his last 19th-century work further confirmed his genius. The authentic stretched canvas replica painting captures the original work's texture, depth of color, and even its subtle brushstrokes, which are applied by hand exclusively for Design Toscano. The imported, delicately carved hardwood frame boasts an elegant leaf motif with fine feathered detailing finished in antique gold tones.
Maitland-Smith
This distinctive figurine is where elegance meets whimsy. Made from cast brass and finished in a sumptuous Victoria Brulee, it depicts a lady gracefully walking an alligator. The attention to detail—from the lady’s flowing dress to the alligator’s textured surface—adds depth and interest to your decor.
Update: I changed this review to one star. Maitland Smith apparently won’t provide the label of authenticity, and Perigold cs doesn’t seem bothered. If you’re a MS collector, beware. The figurine itself is lovely. However, it came without the signature Maitland Smith label of authenticity. I've tried to reach out to Perigold to ask about this but there's been no response. I even tried to contact Maitland Smith before leaving this bad review, but I can't get through to them.. Liz. Hilton Head Island, SC. 2025-02-05 10:14:08

Each canvas is painted entirely by hand by one studio artist from start to finish! No two will ever be alike!
Looks better in reality. Pictures don't justify the true worth. Price effective as well .. Fahad. SPRING, TX. 2024-12-13 09:50:53

A vintage-style etching of a tree creates an intimate and pleasing composition in this timeless landscape.
I like the print, but was surprised to see that the frame is not what is shown on the webpage. The frame I received - while still be the same black and gold colors - is more ornate and elaborate than the clean simple look I thought I was getting. I would have preferred the cleaner look.. Artist Jean Kenna was born in Seoul, Korea. She studied illustration at the art center college of Design where she developed her fundamental drawing and painting skills, as well as getting basic knowledge of technical programs. For Jean, art means lots of things. She thinks art is her language and a privilege given to her to express herself. It is also the way that she can communicate with the world in her own unique and personal way. Jean finds her inspiration in small things that make her excited. For example, movies, a lazy day on a beach, and the silence of a rainy day. Although she mostly works on digital media, Jean loves to draw with a pen and markers. She especially likes to draw cityscapes that involve perspective and stories of city life. During the weekends, Jean often goes outside into the city, studies people and buildings around her, and brings them to life in her sketchbook. Jean believes the purpose of an artist’s work is in bringing excitement and happiness into people’s minds. ‘I love to create art that makes your heart warm’.
