In our first collaboration, acclaimed interior designers Mara Miller and Jesse Carrier and third-generation art house Soicher Marin present Open Studio, five collections that reflect Carrier and Company’s own sensibility and love of art. Jesse and Mara reflected on many of the show-stopping and impactful art pieces that we’ve selected for projects throughout the years as inspiration for this first collection with Soicher Marin. A refined mix of texture and material, the Counter Balance sofa is soft-lined yet sophisticated in an oatmeal melange woven fabric with subtle rust threading. Channel-tufted arms with a slightly angled taper comfortably enclose its loose seat back cushions, propped by a faux-leather-wrapped, counterbalance capped in champagne gold. Poltrona Frau
The historical Dezza 24 sofa, designed by Gio Ponti, has a seasoned beech frame. Dezza 24 features slender armrests that allow for the combination of two or more elements. Among fabrics, comes the Ziggy fabric. Finishes for the feet are lacquered ash. The suspension of the seat is provided by elastic straps, while the padding is made of polyurethane foam.

Delta collection is made to fit in with exterior or interior contemporary spaces. The folding top and the design of the base enable the tables to be lined up one against the other to save space when they are not in use. The goal of the Delta sofa was to create a timeless product that constantly seeks to strike a balance between realism and surrealism - matter and antimatter, abstraction and emotion. The goal was to maximize emotions while minimizing resources, questioning the common logic of something new.
