This mirror is absolutely breathtaking and actually looks better in person vs. online photos. I can’t imagine the time it took to painstakingly place the thousands of shells that cover the elaborate frame. It arrived in heavy Fort-Knox-like packaging to protect it and takes 2 people to unpack. I was amazed that there were only 2 lonely little shells that had come loose and is totally undetectable. The cleat hanger that’s attached is extremely strong but unfortunately the wall hanger part was missing. Perigold offered to replace it but it would take so long and I was able to purchase a set at my local hardware store. I had a handyman hang it, but I did help him to lift it because of its awkward shape and weight. I love it in my kitchen nook but it would be suitable for any room in my home. This mirror is beautifully crafted from real sea shells. The ocean is a large part of our family life, so this represents a life style. The mirror arrived in perfect condition, with some small replacement shells included, being so fragile. The packing and delivery service were excellent. It IS VERY HEAVY. I love the mirror and I think it looks great in my foyer. As another review mentioned, I wish the frame was the same color as the twine they wrapped the mirror with. The twine is light brown and the frame is beige. I might have to try to paint the frame in the places it’s noticeable so it will blend in better. If the frame matched I would have given it 5 stars..
