The furniture is terrific. But delivery was sheer hell! You need to make it clear to your delivery people when the delivery is “white glove” - even though there was a sticker stating this on the boxes, the delivery order was “drop off” and that’s what the delivery guys go by.. The design of this piece is beautiful, but I encountered two significant issues. First, there were noticeable quality problems. The surface was rough to the touch, causing discomfort and even minor injuries, which is disappointing. I’ve uploaded photos to highlight these issues. As a loyal customer of Four Hands furniture, I had high expectations, and I was surprised by this level of quality control failure. Second, the design itself has flaws. It doesn't fit well under a standard dining table, which was a frustrating discovery after purchase. The dimensions, particularly the height and backrest, are not clearly specified, making it difficult to gauge fit beforehand. On a positive note, after nearly a year of use, the piece remains sturdy and well-constructed. However, the seat cushion has noticeably flattened over time, which affects comfort. While I believe Four Hands generally produces high-quality products, it seems the seat cushions in this case were not designed to maintain their shape and support. To be clear, I don’t think this is a Perigold issue—it appears to be a manufacturing oversight on Four Hands' part. Despite the drawbacks, the piece is still functional and aesthetically pleasing, but it’s not ideal for use under a dining table. I love the style and look of these chairs. However, they are 2 completely different colors/weave. I find that a bit frustrating. They are uncomfortable to sit on and will definitely need a seat cushion which I expected. Over all, I like the coastal feel of these chairs and will keep them but I expected more from this company as far as matching the colors, so I would hesitate to order from them again. Lisa.
