Super classy a.nd BIG! Surprisingly it only weighs 11 pounds, not too hard to hang above my new TV console. The pendulum swings and has its own battery which was a little difficult to insert but you just have to slide it straight in behind the pendulum. Positive/negative are marked, but I had to use a flashlight to see which way it went. I absolutely love the swinging pendulum, a nod to times past.
