Maxfield Parrish (1870-1966), one of the best-known and most successful artists of his day employed unique techniques and luminescent colors, realism, and fantastical imagery. This framed art print, features a lovely reproduction of his Reservoir illustration, in a coordinating frame.
The print is gorgeous - just as depicted. However, I’m giving it only three stars because the frame is awful. It’s a very bright, deep gold color. It appears to be two tone online - a deep gold border and a pale, almost ivory color next to the green matting. In reality it’s just a cheap looking gold.. Patricia.
