The Dandelion floor lamp is a masterful composition that celebrates its namesake flower. The puff-balls that surround the bulbs are made of nails that are bent and welded together, a process that is extremely labor intensive. Made of wrought iron, the lamp's base stems, and leaves are in a contemporary gold leaf finish, while the floral elements are in a mix of contemporary silver leaf and contemporary silver finishes. The undulant shape of the Sunbird floor lamp is achieved when the wood is rotated on a machine to carve its outline. This requires great skill because it has to be manipulated at 90-degree angles to create both the smoothness of the surface and the knottiness of the shape. Brass bamboo floor lamp with antique finish
