Love this, it took a while to receive, but was worth it. We live on the water, and I wanted something pretty, but subtle, and this picture nailed it with a touch of sailboats scattered in. Very pretty painting.. Laura. Houston, TX. 2024-02-27 06:54:35

It's nice for a print on canvas, has more of a water color feel so I am not really missing the texture you would like from an oil or acrylic on canvas.. Sarah. SACRAMENTO, CA. 2025-07-02 14:42:20

Although born and raised in Los Angeles, Artist Van Garret has been heavily influenced by traveling abroad to a multitude of countries, especially Iceland. Music is a big part of his life and it sparked his creativity even before he began painting. In fact, Van did not begin painting until he was in college and he is self-taught. “Art was something that was always in my genes. It makes me happy. I believe that every artist leaves a piece of themselves in their artwork. In turn, it makes me happy when people get to own part of those pieces to share with the world.” Van prefers working in liquid acrylics and watercolors because of their fluidity. “I like how the colors flow. I like to observe how the different shapes and mixtures come alive.” Van finds animals, humans and nature are his favorite subjects to paint. He is inspired by nature, people and music. When not painting, Van runs marathons, travels and plays the guitar.
Artist Jean Kenna believes the purpose of an artist's life is to bring excitement and happiness into people's minds. The life and color exemplified in her "Call It Love" painting, expresses this. "I love to create art that makes your heart warm".
This piece is attractive and serves the purpose by adding color and interest to the room. I ordered the largest size, but felt the price was a little high, given that it is an embellished print and has no frame.. Karen. New York, NY. 2024-08-18 15:27:34
