The piece itself is esthetically appealing but the advertised “touch lamp dimmer” and electrical cords are not useful. First the item does not come with instructions for use, had to email the manufacturer and wait two weeks to receive a response. When used with. wall switch turns off and dims doesn’t turn back on. Really love these nightstands! There are no visible drawer slides (slides are on bottom of drawers and made of wood) which is really nice and makes them look of much higher quality than those cheap metal drawer slides on the drawer sides that so many mass produced pieces have.
