The bed is inspired by a traditional Italian design featuring a natural woven cane, a hand-carved bouquet of flowers, rosettes, repetitive leaf motifs, and fluted pilasters. The finish is an antique cream paint with gold leaf accents on the carving.
It is Beautiful. The delivery was excellent. However, some screws to secure the slats to the frame were missing. I had some in my house and gave them to the gentleman who assembled the bed. This Swedish-inspired Sideboard features reeded doors, large dental molding, fluted pilasters, a carved circle motif on the apron, and antiqued white marble inserts in the top. It is finished in an antiqued light grey and cream scrubbed and chipped paint. It is constructed of Acacia solids and Cherry veneers.
