Tufenkian
A kinetic Barbara Barry design of classic tones with electric pulses of silk to produce a modern and moving carpet. An elegant and captivating use of light pale blue and golden beige, Moire Golden Mist is evocative of a subtle cascading waterfall over a golden wall. This rug was woven in Tibet using our Shakti weave, which gives it an average pile height of a little higher than a quarter of an inch.
Don't let its simplicity fool you – it took us several years to develop this rustic interpretation of a classic moiré. Think pedigree without the primness.

The House of Scalamandre
A cotton blend rib weave is calendared, or pressed through high-temperature rollers, to create the subtle, marble-like striations of Riva Moiré. This finish, which harkens back to medieval times, essentially crushes areas of the fabric to create an elegant, shimmering surface. The moiré effect changes depending on the angle, and due to the nature of the process, the effect is non-repeating and more obvious in some colorways than in others. This striking plain is available in fetching hues from jewel tones to nuanced neutrals.
