It’s an aesthetically pretty piece, but I question the craftsmanship. It seems like everything these days is glorified junk. Pros: Easy to assemble. Took my husband 10 minutes since the drawer comes already assembled. Drawer functions well. It looks good and is heavy. Delivery was well orchestrated. Cons: Came out of box damaged. It was well packaged so I think this happened when it was originally packaged and not during delivery. It’s on the back so not worth returning since you can’t see it (see pics). For $400 after tax, I expect more especially from the brand Hooker which is known for quality or at least it used to be. It’s being used as a nightstand in my daughter’s room. Really love these nightstands! There are no visible drawer slides (slides are on bottom of drawers and made of wood) which is really nice and makes them look of much higher quality than those cheap metal drawer slides on the drawer sides that so many mass produced pieces have.
