Artist Zoey Riley was born to very conservative and traditional parents, who did not support her interest in fine arts. Zoey pursued her passion for fine art secretly as an adolescent, due to her parent’s restrictions, and used the art she viewed in galleries as her tutor. As soon as she was of age, she fled her hometown to live in New York City in order to be closer to a fast-paced environment, concentrated with art galleries. Zoey used everything around her to draw inspiration, from the street signs to the dancers seen through the windows of dance studios. After taking in all she could from the modern New York art scene, Zoey made her move to San Francisco, where she could expand her skills and be a part of the culture-filled scene. Today, she resides in Southern California, still searching for the experience that will take her to the next level.

The Artist, D’Alessandro Leon, was the youngest of three brothers. When art competitions were a form of play for the brothers, it later grew to his obsession. D’Alessandro attended the art institute of California where he explored mixing mediums as well as digital. He also attended illustration, Sculpting, and fine art workshops. After spending long periods of time studying different techniques, D’Alessandro’s art became increasingly influenced by artists from the early 1900s. During D’Alessandro’s studies, he painted many different themes. He painted with restless intensity, often painting from morning until night. D’Alessandro was able to indulge his earliest artistic preferences for people, nature, architecture, and landscapes in his illustration and personal pieces.

Fern Cassidy was born in Oakland, CA but grew up in Colorado. She enjoys traveling, being outdoors, food & painting. Fern studied drawing and painting at CSU Long Beach where she learned a lot from professors that she trained under but most of her experience comes from her personal practice. This painting is spectacular! I'm so happy with it. It's the perfect mix of grays and blues that I was looking for. I was very hesitant to buy artwork without actually seeing it, but I can say that the delivered product looks exactly as the image on the Perigold site. I also opted for having it delivered inside my house versus left on the step. The delivery people carefully handled the painting and were very professional. There wasn't a mark or ding on the box.
