The fixture provides 100% glare-free light. Its design is based on the principle of a reflective three-shade system, which directs the majority of the light downwards. The fixture emits both downward and lateral light, thus illuminating itself.
Every VL 45 Pale Rose Pendant is made of mouthblownfour-layer glass in a soft Pale Rose colour. Thanks to the nature of their production, these stunning handcrafted shades are completely unique, so the colour and thickness of the glass can vary. The soft pale rose colour of the glass combined with the brushed brass elements of the VL 45 Pale Rose Pendant creates a beautiful, elegant expression that provides a subtle softness and warm light to the room.
The fixture provides 100% glare-free light. Its design is based on the principle of a reflective three-shade system that directs most of the light downward. The fixture emits both downward and lateral light, thus illuminating itself.
The fixture emits a primarily downward illumination. The perforated pattern on the shade provides a soft illumination around the fixture. Meanwhile, the perforation helps lighten up the surface of the shade in a decorative way, when it is turned on, thereby maintaining the contour of the fixture, whether it is on or off. The light source is surrounded by an opal diffuser, which ensures that the fixture is 100% glare-free. And finally, the shape of the diffuser allows a beautiful view into the fixture.
The fixture emits glare-free, soft, comfortable downward light. The shade design ensures even illumination of the surface. The matt upper surface diffuses the light, while the shiny lower surface ensures optimal reflection.
The fixture is designed based on the principle of a reflective three-shade system, which directs the majority of the light downwards. The shades are made of hand-blown opal three-layer glass, glossy on top and sandblasted matte on the underside, giving a soft and uniform light distribution.
The fixture is designed based on the principle of a reflective three-shade system, which directs the majority of the light downwards. The shades are made of metal and painted white to ensure uniform, comfortable light distribution.
The pendant is a glowing ellipsoid made up of diamond-shaped cells. Each cell has been carefully designed to capture light and conceal the light source from viewing angles above 40 degrees. Below 40 degrees the lamp allows direct, downward light. The round opening underneath provides direct light with a soft transition toward the reflected light. The pendant can be used with or without a diffuser plate, depending on whether the view of the light source creates an unwanted glare or not.
The pendant emits soft downwards directed light. The matte, white-painted inside of the elliptical shade helps to ensure even distribution of the light.
The VL 56 Pendant was designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen, for Folkets Hus in Copenhagen. The building was a complete work by Lauritzen, for which he designed everything from doorknobs and staircases to furniture and lamps. The VL 56 Pendant is still found above the bar, in the building which today is a concert venue known as Vega. Both the chrome and brass pendants provide exceptional downward-directed light, and the radial perforation pattern softens the contrast between light and darkness while casting a beautiful pattern onto the surrounding surfaces.
The fixture emits a soft comfortable downlight. The conical shape and the matt, white-painted inside help assure even distribution of the light. The opening at the top of the fixture provides decorative illumination of the arch above and ensures that the fixture retains the full expression of its visual shape both when illuminated and when switched off.
