The Twig Collection originated with one of Studio A Home's inspired artisans. He went into the woods and selected interesting branches, made prototypes using the real branches, then cast the table bases and mirror frames from the prototypes. It would be impossible to capture the organic shapes, subtle movement, and intricate detail of the branches using any other method. Nature does it best!

Based on the popularity of our Meteor Bowls, we have created two new sizes and a new color. The original of this grand statement piece was created by a Portuguese artist whose work first caught our designers' eyes at an art fair in Portugal. It took years of collaboration to arrive at this design that can be consistently produced. Multiple pieces are cast, bound together, and fired. Then it receives a reactive glaze and is fired a second time. There is a tremendous amount of artisan work that goes into every piece. Entire rooms could be designed around this beautiful and functional sculpture.

The tailored sofa is distinguished by the sleek pinstripe fabric around the back support. A beautiful wooden base supports the sofa and is accentuated along the bottom edge with a filet of solid brass running around the entire frame of the sofa. Elegant shapely legs and frame are finished in a dark waxed oiled walnut finish. This item is covered in natural muslin. It is a temporary covering intended to hold the upholstery components in place until they can be replaced by appropriate upholstery fabric. Muslin is imperfect by nature.
