Color is beautiful and frame is neutral enough to go with everything. BUT—the flimsy packaging has rubbed the “paint” off, has indented spots and actually torn up spots of the canvas in EVERY CORNER. We were expecting more texture on the painting. Instead it almost appears as a print. Also we came to find out that the item was not able to be returned. Had we known this, we would likely not ordered the item. The artist, D’Alessandro Léon, was the youngest of three brothers. When art competitions were a form of play for the brothers, it later grew to his obsession. D’Alessandro attended the Art Institute of California where he explored mixing mediums as well as digital. He also attended illustration, Sculpting and Fine Art workshops. After spending long periods of time studying different techniques, D’Alessandro’s art became increasingly influenced by artists from the early 1900’s. During D’Alessandro’s studies he painted many different themes. He painted with restless intensity, often painting from morning until night. D’Alessandro was able to indulge his earliest artistic preferences for people, nature, architecture and landscapes in his illustration and personal pieces.

I love the colors in this picture, it is very beautiful and looks great in my kitchen. The first one came damaged but they were very good about sending a new one in perfect shape.
