A soft and relaxing landscape, the seaside scene features heavy brushstrokes that create an impressionistic landscape with personality. The heavy brushstrokes are further highlighted by paint applied by trained artisans to elevate the piece of work.
Color is beautiful and frame is neutral enough to go with everything. BUT—the flimsy packaging has rubbed the “paint” off, has indented spots and actually torn up spots of the canvas in EVERY CORNER. If it was a single spot, I would keep. But for the price, more padding and care needs to be taken with the packaging.. Laurie. Fort Worth, TX. 2023-03-04 12:32:06

I was born in the Foothills of California, a small town called Tuolumne, fairly close to Yosemite National Park. I studied textile design and oil painting. I studied at a local community college back home and at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise. Art has a lot of meaning for me. It’s a way of communicating, expressing myself, and connecting myself to my thoughts and others. I find inspiration mainly from nature and emotions. I like to use all mediums, but my favorites are oil, acrylic, and watercolor. I enjoy being outdoors, playing music, painting, singing, writing, and being with friends.

D’Alessandro attended the Art Institute of California where he explored mixing mediums as well as digital. He also attended illustration, Sculpting, and Fine Art workshops. After spending long periods of time studying different techniques, D’Alessandro’s art became increasingly influenced by artists from the early 1900s. During D’Alessandro’s studies, he painted many different themes. He painted with restless intensity, often painting from morning until night. D’Alessandro was able to indulge his earliest artistic preferences for people, nature, architecture, and landscapes in his illustration and personal pieces.
