We purchased the nickel finish and love them! These were installed as part of a full kitchen remodel. They are definitely sizable and we were quite concerned they'd be too big, but honestly for us they are not. if we purchased the M they'd have been too small. Given they are an open design and light weight - given their size - it balances it out. We purchased 2 to go over our 99" x 80" island - it's a big island and can sustain having such large lights over it. We also have 10' ceilings so the room can really handle the large. Only change from the photo is that our hood was made too small and a larger version is coming and clearly await our new refrigerator - just making note for scale purposes. A few pointers, the spec sheet says they are not dimmable - they ARE dimmable, just buy the right bulbs.I had to speak to VC tech services and they confirmed. Visual comfort offers printed to scale paper models for $5 to help with selection. I didn't see this until too late, but would have been a helpful option. Ship and delivery timing is a challenge. trust the timing provided by Perigold. It seems VC and Perigold don't communicate all that well and I was given at least 5 different ship/delivery dates. It all worked out in the end, but I had to keep changing electrician appt. Thankfully this wasn't a gating item to any other kitchen reno activity. In the end it was an annoyance, but I mention as if you have a hard stop for timing this could be a pain point. Love them though and really glad we went with the big size.. Tricia.
