Art for Danson is often unconventional and post-modern. She believes that one can find “beauty and inspiration from every day, a word, a gesture, spaces in between light and color.” Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Danson recollects fond childhood memories of cool breezes off Lake Michigan and the changing array of colors through the cycle of seasons. The artist graduated with a Masters of Fine Art from the University of Wisconsin. She augmented her education by studying for a year in Paris, France. She has taught for the past ten years as an assistant professor in art at universities in Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Arizona.
