It's really nicely made and put together with wood fittings. It came expertly packed to protect from damage unlike other teak items I ordered from another company. Made from solid, high-density polystyrene, eco-teak is the finest, most natural-looking synthetic wood available. Our vintage finish uses a blend of colors to simulate natural wood grain, and the material is colored throughout for fade resistance. Long spans on frames are braced with rustproof, powder-coated aluminum to prevent warping over time, and all items are constructed using traditional joinery and 304 Stainless steel hardware. Our tables take inspiration from tables. Frames are made from solid, distressed teak wood that showcases natural characteristics such as knots, checking, and other irregularities, adding to each piece’s vintage style. Tabletops are fashioned from beautiful extra-wide planks of teak. Trestle-style bases have scrolled motifs and wedged mortise-and-tenon joinery. Tables are hand-finished in antiqued white. If exposed to the elements, the finish will wear away but can be easily touched up or repainted.

One of Kingsley Bate's larger tables, the oval Essex comfortably seats 10 to 12 people in the expanded position and 6 to 8 in the closed position. This table has 2 rotating and self-storing leaves that transform the large table into a smaller version. The table accommodates the largest of Kingsley Bate's umbrellas. It is not necessary to remove the umbrella when changing the table size, shown here with Kingsley Bate's Gearhart folding chairs.
The product is crafted from a blend of premium teak and all-weather wicker. Teak arms are beautifully rounded for understated refinement, and legs arch back with graceful flair. Seat and back surfaces are designed to look like authentic paper-cord, with twisted and conventional fibers interwoven in a classic pattern. Alternatively, this product may be special ordered in the weather-friendly woven lace, a fiber made from supple, polypropylene yarns braided around a plastic core for strength and structure. Dining chairs may be used with or without cushions.

The open-weave design of our Catherine group lends to the casual, relaxed comfort of the collection. Extra wide, all-weather, wicker fibers are woven around solid teak frames. The smooth, and slightly pliant wicker surface, is comfortable without cushions.
Everything about this set has been wonderful. The biggest surprise is that it is easy to keep clean. We have added some large pillows as it is a bit outsized. The set stays cool because it allows for airflow. It is various shades of a blue-ish gray make it a neutral and “matches” the sky. Very pleased with this purchase.. Sarah.
