It’s an aesthetically pretty piece, but I question the craftsmanship. It seems like everything these days is glorified junk. Pros: Easy to assemble. Took my husband 10 minutes since the drawer comes already assembled. Drawer functions well. It looks good and is heavy. Delivery was well orchestrated. Cons: Came out of box damaged. It was well packaged so I think this happened when it was originally packaged and not during delivery. It’s on the back so not worth returning since you can’t see it (see pics). For $400 after tax, I expect more especially from the brand Hooker which is known for quality or at least it used to be. It’s being used as a nightstand in my daughter’s room. The piece itself is esthetically appealing but the advertised “touch lamp dimmer” and electrical cords are not useful. First the item does not come with instructions for use, had to email the manufacturer and wait two weeks to receive a response. When used with. wall switch turns off and dims doesn’t turn back on.
