This traditional kilim weave was borrowed from an antique swatch and interpreted in performance yarns in shades of orange, rose, turquoise, lime, tomato, and ochre. Another classic sun, rain, dog, and child-proof rug design, sustainably made from recycled water bottles with fair labor practices. Perfect for high-traffic use in entryways, covered porches, and kitchens.

Originating from Turkey circa 1930-1940, a 7x9 antique Kilim carrying simple but subtly playful stripes. Enjoying beige-brown with deep red notes, the piece exemplifies the rustic & simplified approach of tribal aesthetics. Prevailing in good condition, a rare large-size vintage flat weave for an array of interiors welcoming a comfortable & spacious piece. Connoisseurs may note a mild textural element with embroidered pink and blue yarns accenting the more prevailing colorways. A slight but playful note complementing the repetition with a collectible element.
Handwoven wool, circa 1900-1920, this rare antique European kilim rug is specifically a flatweave of early 20th century Bessarabian descent, featuring cartouche-style blossoms, garland leaf and vine scrolls, roses in the borders. On the Design: Connoisseurs will admire the light blue field and green borders underscore a variety of floral patterns—mostly in a shade of pink called rose, camel tones, indigo blues, forest green, chartreuse green. Keen eyes for detail will appreciate this oversized palace rug and its pattern, too,which is a most unusual find in this provenance, with a clear influence or rather marriage of French neoclassical and Oriental rugs, even Russian sensibilities, as were seen in many Bessarabians.
