Small geometric prints have a meditative quality to them. The Nicatta is one of these simple drawings that keeps the eye moving and the mind calm.
These are nice towels. They are soft and comfy and the color is exactly as pictured. However, when I washed them in cold water and on the delicate cycle a lot of the balls fell off. I bought 4 towels and had about 20 balls fall off. Now I have to sew them back on. I would give them five stars for the towels themselves, but am taking two off for the balls falling off before I even used the towels. I imagine more balls will fall off also.. Margaret. Part of our 20th Anniversary Collection, this towel is inspired by Suzani, an embroidered tribal textile from Central Asia. Its title comes from the Persian word "Suzan" which means needle.
An old Russian taxi once brought me to the Fergana Valley in Uzbekistan. I sought the amazingly talented silk ikat weavers and got lost in their stacks of patterns. I never forget those craftsmen. Who knows? This towel might lead you on a similar path.

Our safari in Kenya would start well before sunrise. The ancient land rovers bumped along what could not be called roads to find the elephants, tigers, and birds all just waking up. It was well worth it to provide inspiration for this towel, your own picture from those days.
