For the price tag, the clock feels a bit cheap in my opinion. I like the face design, but materials and depth of clock are not what I had hoped for (opened a ticket bc the hands get stuck on each-other, and it’s just a flat face clock and there is no trim/inset to the clock as the picture appears). Overall like the clock design and it has been keeping perfect time for a couple of days now. There is one design flaw with respect to hanging the clock. The "hook" on the back of the clock for hanging is too close to the clock, causing the clock to tilt from top to bottom (bottom is farther from the wall than the top of the clock). I was partially able to mitigate this by using an extra-large hanging hook but there is still some tilt but not noticeable. The previous large wall clock I am replacing had a large "hook" to hang the clock which was at least 2-inches away from the clock back allowing it to hang perfectly vertical. Super classy a.nd BIG! Surprisingly it only weighs 11 pounds, not too hard to hang above my new TV console. The pendulum swings and has its own battery which was a little difficult to insert but you just have to slide it straight in behind the pendulum. Positive/negative are marked, but I had to use a flashlight to see which way it went. I absolutely love the swinging pendulum, a nod to times past.
