Delivery was on time and perfect. (Thank you, Calvin and Harold who had to rassle the thing up a flight of stairs.) It's a pretty heavy piece (350 lbs?) so unboxing and moving it two feet into its proper position was a feat. But it looks splendid and is perfect in every way. It is exactly what I ordered. For the person who complained that there were access holes in the rear of the piece that weren't pictured in the catalog, I'm thankful there are useful access holes in the rear of the piece! It’s an aesthetically pretty piece, but I question the craftsmanship. It seems like everything these days is glorified junk. Pros: Easy to assemble. Took my husband 10 minutes since the drawer comes already assembled. Drawer functions well. It looks good and is heavy. Delivery was well orchestrated. Cons: Came out of box damaged. It was well packaged so I think this happened when it was originally packaged and not during delivery. It’s on the back so not worth returning since you can’t see it (see pics). For $400 after tax, I expect more especially from the brand Hooker which is known for quality or at least it used to be. It’s being used as a nightstand in my daughter’s room.
