To create this distinctive "woven" look, artisans comb layers of enamel over the mouth-blown glass. A final firing in the kiln fuses the enamel to glass. The enamel gives each piece a subtle shimmer; the hand-applied process makes each piece unique.

This glass bath soap dispenser features mouth blown glass enrobed in hand-painted enamel. Artisans comb the wet enamel to create a subtle "woven" texture. Made in Italy.

Handcrafted in Florence of wood overlaid with genuine gold leaf. The leaf is applied by hand in small squares and brushed with antique glaze. An acrylic finish protects the surfaces.
