Overall this is a very nice rug- soft, well-made, beautiful sculpting. My only disappointment are the colors- they're much more muted than they looked in the picture. The glass on the Forest collection has a unique finish as a result of a chemical reaction. It has a mercury glass interior that fades into the snow-white textured finish. The base of the pieces is matte antique brass and the rim is adorned with glass garland beads. Decorative use only.
