For a totally contemporary Scandinavian take on traditional afternoon tea, serve your cakes or sandwiches on this striking stainless steel étagère. Three mirror-polished trays are stacked on a column with an ergonomic sculptural handle making the stand an eye-catching centerpiece to the table, especially when filled with delicious goodies! Argentina-born Alfredo Häberli’s work is characterized by creativity and joyfulness. He believes that even everyday objects should have a humorous and therefore emotional quality. This feeling runs through his Alfredo collection for Georg Jensen, conceived as a ‘family’ of objects, similar but different. The cake stand is beautifully made from mirror-polished stainless steel. It is suitable for use with food.
With its unfussy organic shape and superb quality, the Cafu vase epitomizes Scandinavian design. And the fact that the vase is rendered in a stunning deep blue that looks just like the sea that surrounds Denmark adds to that. The glass vase can stand alone as an object of beauty but looks stunning filled with flowers or grouped with other vases. The Cafu vase was created by design studio HolmbäckNordentoft as a tribute to the design legacy of Georg Jensen. It encapsulates the very essence of Scandinavian design and the rich heritage of the company.
This is an absolutely gorgeous vase! The quality of Georg Jensen’s work is the highest of standards. This beautiful piece of art was even better than expected. It was such a heavy piece and the color was as pictured and described. Upon receipt however I did notice a very tiny hairline crack in small area on the vase. It was not significantly noticeable and I loved it so much I didn’t want to return it!. Debbie. West Des Moines, IA. 2025-03-10 16:41:51
Inspired by the iconic work of Sigvard Bernadotte, the Georg Jensen design team created this elegant dish on a stand. Bernadotte’s distinctive fluting now appears radiating across the dish whilst the stand itself is taken from one of his original candlestick designs. It works beautifully as a centerpiece on a table, perhaps holding fruit or bread. Born into the Swedish royal family, Sigvard Bernadotte was one of Georg Jensen’s earliest collaborators. His love of both sophisticated aesthetics and rigorous functionality makes him a key figure in the history of Scandinavian design and his Bernadotte collection has proved timeless. Masterfully crafted in stainless steel, the dish has a bright mirror-polished surface that accentuates the elegant fluted surface.

As if the surface of a liquid had been turned to steel, the Cobra bowl’s curves and undulations seem to constantly change depending on the viewpoint and the light. The highly polished stainless steel surface reflects the surroundings, mesmerizing the eye even more. Empty, the bowl is a beautiful centerpiece to a table but there is practicality too - the bowl can hold small snacks or treats and the shape makes it easy to pick up and carry. Designer Constantin Wortmann’s work follows natural flowing shapes and sensuous curves. Believing that design should create a reaction in the user and should not be taken too seriously leads Wortmann to make quirky and very popular pieces, the Georg Jensen Cobra collection being a particularly strong example.

Beautifully combining form with function, the Barbry wooden tray is a practical and stylish way of carrying food and drinks from the kitchen to the dining room. Always working to solve problems in the most elegant way, designer Aurélien Barbry simply curved the tray’s outer lip at each end creating two ergonomically pleasing handles. This is a beautiful and well-made tray. That said, it is rather expensive and I do regret spending that much money on the tray now that I own it.. Ann. Willow Grove, PA. 2024-11-30 07:45:04
The popular Bloom mirror bowl takes its inspiration from cherry blossoms in full bloom. The delicate and soft contours of the flowers informed the designer Helle Damkjær as she created a now-classic bowl, that is perfectly suited for presenting delicious fruits. The Bloom bowl can easily be used as a decorative element in itself, on your table or a shelf.
Beautiful piece, nice and smooth transaction. Alejandro. Miami, FL. 2023-08-31 12:02:27
The gentle curves of the mirror bowl were initially inspired by the natural forms of cherry blossom petals. Translated into stainless steel, these become a bowl of deceptive simplicity where the sculptural form and dazzling surface require no extra embellishment. The dish makes a striking table centerpiece or can be used to hold fruit or bread. Helle Damkjær’s travels to Japan lead to her designing the series of bowls, dishes, and spoons for Georg Jensen. The results are a winning combination of natural shapes, Scandinavian minimalism, and superb craftsmanship. The mirrored bowl is created from stainless steel with a high shine polished finish.

Like the surface of water or perhaps fabric caught in the wind, the Cobra oval tray seems to float above the table surface. The undulating shape makes the tray appear weightless but also makes it easy to carry and move - typical of the Scandinavian approach to both form and function. Georg Jensen’s Cobra collection of candlesticks, tableware, trays, and lamp-stands is one of the house’s most recognizable and popular. Designed by Constantin Wortmann, the pieces bring both humor and a modern sculptural style to everyday objects whilst never ignoring practicality. The tray is beautifully crafted from stainless steel which is then given a mirror polish, enhancing the flowing shape and reflecting the room around it.
Very stylish, looks beautiful in my foyer, got on open box clearance, shop smart!. Donna. Vero Beach FL. 2025-03-29 11:02:34
