A laminated lift-up shelf is located inside each of the two drawers for additional work surface area for mixing or prep. 180° door hinges. The piece is very nice and we are happy with it. However, there were a few things to comment on: 1. the Stop Screw for the slide top on the right-side top was not fully screwed up. So the first time we slid the right top, it almost fell off. We luckily caught the right-side top before it fell onto the floor. We were able to fix this and now both the right and left sliding tops work correctly. 2. The veneer on the right-side small vertical strip is loose (see photo below). It's not so bad that we would send the cabinet back, but you should be aware of your inspection process did not catch this flaw in the cabinet. 3. The white glove delivery was less than stellar. They unpacked the piece and moved it into place. Not that there was a lot of assembly, but they didn't do anything. Additionally, there were no instructions included to specify where the semi-circular plastic bin was supposed to go. Eventually, we found a photo online and that indicated where it was to go.
