Artist Ann Duffy's ability to create flowing, whimsical forms is exemplary as in painting, an acrylic work on canvas. "I love when the colors flow into each other creating a new pigment and shape unique to the image. It gives me great satisfaction and inspiration".
I really love this painting! Fits perfectly above my new sofa and adds a pop of color to tie everything together! So much prettier in person! A little pricey but worth it!. Danelle C. DALLAS, TX. 2024-12-27 17:58:55

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Artist Dylan Grey majored in studio art with an emphasis in photography at Long Beach State College. What he knew about art, he learned from his professors and family. Dylan looked up to his Dad who is a furniture designer. He then had a few jobs working as a gallery preparator where he learned how to use a paintbrush, roller, and masking tape. Dylan believes that Art is an expression of one’s self, focusing on his or her thoughts. Dylan found inspiration through the things in his daily life such as graffiti, music, buildings, breakups, and suburban life. He likes to play with bright colors and shapes. He enjoys working with a variety of mediums: digital, collage, and experimenting with different processes. Dylan’s favorite medium is painting, but he enjoys mixing mediums. Spray paint, color swatches, tape, glue, coffee, sponge rollers, house paint, experimenting with lightboxes. He also loves using the computer to modify his work. Elena Carlie was born in Romania; a country known for its rich cultural heritage and great natural beauty. At the age of 22, she moved to the United States where she expanded her horizons and grew as an artist. She has studied Fine arts since she was a child and currently holds a BFA in graphic design from the University of NH. “Art defines our humanity, freedom, and individuality. It is a way to articulate abstract thought and separates us from other life forms. Art is incredibly therapeutic for me, and foremost a strong passion. It’s not something I think about, but rather, something I feel.” Carlie finds inspiration everywhere. She strives to discover new ways of interpretation and sees this as a formula to remain fresh. It is a way of having fun while doing something that she loves. “To me, anything that can be manipulated can become an art medium.” “I love to work with watercolor paint, oil paint, acrylic paint, pencil, pen, and ink. However, the digital tools available today are pushing the limits of creativity and I find myself very involved with it.”

Ann was born in Enid, Oklahoma, and educated at the University of Oklahoma, with a degree in Interior Design. She moved to San Diego in 1984, where she lives today with her husband and three children. While her artistic impression was constant throughout her life, her recent foray into the art world was developed over the past 15 years working as a volunteer art teacher for school children at the elementary level. During this time she also worked as the prop, costume, and backdrop designer for the elementary school’s performances and directed the art and talent shows for many years. Now coming full circle, Ann is once again involved in instructing new and aspiring artists on her painting methods. In her commitment to being a green artist, Ann is able to create unique paintings by using recycled materials, finding items of interest in her environment, and using every drop of paint to add dimension to her paintings.
This piece needs 10 stars. It’s big bold and just what our dinning area needed. It’s definitely one of my most favorite pieces in the house.. Judyth. US. 2025-05-30 13:05:20
