Juju hats originate from the Bamileke people near Cameroon in West Africa. Traditionally worn by village chiefs during important ceremonies, the hat color and size project status and wealth. Each hat is constructed entirely by hand from natural or dyed bird feathers which are carefully hand sewn onto a raffia base using traditional methods.
