I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this lamp - it seems to be real brass, not that cheap looking “brass finish” that everything seems to have these days. It is a beautiful genuine brass color and already has a slight patina that I think will age beautifully. I tried to capture the finish in the photos. The assembly was quick but really sturdy. It’s a really beautiful, high quality, well made lamp and I’m so glad I didn’t settle for a cheaper one which I almost did. This was definitely worth the price.. Lauren. The lamp is great except we ordered a touch lamp and received a floor dimmer lamp. We were told they will call us to confirm what they have available! Instead they send us a dimmer lamp without calling. Since they decided the sale was more important than customer service, i reduced my rating… if they had call as promised it would have been my decision to order the dimmer lamp not their decision..
