Better than expected . I took a chance ordering online , sometimes the color isn’t accurate. This table was perfectly matched to a stone fireplace. I would call the color a taupe ash brown . Easily seats six comfortably and can possibly seat 8 depending on the chairs. The delivery went very smoothly. Very pretty table although be aware that there are veneers and the table is made in China. The first table that was delivered to us had the veneer on one of the leaves bubbling up/chipping off. Perigold has amazing customer service and shipped out a new table right away and followed up multiple times. The second table arrived and tabletop was fine although part of the wood on the side/underneath was splintering off. We decided it was in a spot that wasn't very noticeable and didn't want to go thru the hassle of sending a second table back.
