The House of Scalamandre
The Flamme Embroidered Tape is inspired by an 18th-century fauteuil, or armchair, originally intended for Marie-Antoinette's grand cabinet intérieur at Versailles. The armchair boasts finely brocaded and appliquéd silk with botanical motifs. Based on the border of the armchair, this is a viscose-embroidered silk-and-cotton tape whose versatile and symmetrical design can be used in both traditional and contemporary environments.
Paisley embroidered tape features a combination of classic Indian-inspired motifs that are delicately stitched on a simple cotton ground and accentuated with bands of thin cording. It is a wonderful textural trim for pillows, upholstery, and window treatments that will imbue chic Eastern flair.
