Dogs, Asian pagodas, Ginko trees, and a boat ride down the river all join together in a whimsical pattern painted by John Loecke of Madcap Cottage. We offer two versions of the light-colored pattern in porcelain, and on our Delfern Bench in coral and celadon fabrics. Canton is a narrow jar rectangle-shaped lamp with a rectangle lucite base. Accented with aged brass hardware and crystal ball finial.

To begin, it is a cute lamp, no doubt. But the colors depicted in the website's introductory photo is more grass and apple green than the lamp actually is. The greens are actually more olive, so less "madcap." The strokes of green appear more painted on top than fired within the glass. Finally, the lamp is much bigger than you think. In the website photos, it appears more squat and cute, but in reality it has the proportions of a midmod lamp. The picture is of the lamp next to a 70' tv.. Will-O-B.
