House of Hackney
Art imitates nature across Herbarium: Our reimagining of the exquisite floral mosaics by Mary Delany. The epitome of a late bloomer, the 18th-century English artist began crafting her series of 985 extraordinarily detailed collages at the age of 72. Now, in partnership with the British Museum, we've created our own paper garden, filled with Delany's buttercups, daisies, thistles, and foliage, then topped with our characterful additions of bugs and butterflies. Each item sold enables House of Hackney to purchase and protect 35 square meters of forest, thanks to our partnership with the World Land Trust the international conservation charity that safeguards our most vital natural ecosystems and threatened habitats, acre by acre.
The House of Scalamandre
Our popular 19C, beautifully drawn English archival print of stately pheasants perched on a floral branch, now has an expanded color palette. We are happy to announce the addition of Botany Bay wallcoverings. The same six colors are produced in England on a non-woven ground for an extension of this cult-classic motif. ed on a floral branch, as a wallcovering on a non-woven ground.
